This week the kids gave their daycare lady the holiday gift that we picked up for her.
Sissy Bear handed it to her noting outloud that it was from the kids.
Boo walked up to the daycare lady and said as discreetly as he could, "It might be from us kids but you know who REALLY bought it don't you?"
Grandpa came up with the word KAZOOFUS and used it as a replacement word.
It most frequently replaced the word 'ass'. He tried so hard to not use
profanity in front of his sweet little granddaughters that KAZOOFUS was
his
fill-in word whenever he caught himself about to swear. My sister and
I,
being far too young to sling our own four letter naughty's around, gladly
adopted this wonderful new word that our family probably tolerated more
than they accepted.

I think in the writing world it's called Fiction and Nonfiction.
Whatever you call it, I call it opinion and freedom of speech and you
can take it or leave it. You have the right to remain silent or you
can SHOUT OUT or email me directly or EXIT your browser immediately
and never come back.
If you read something and you think it's about you, maybe it is,
maybe it isn't. Chance's are it isn't or I'd mention your name.
Don't get a big head over it. The world doesn't revolve around you.

I don't imagine anything truly juicy or offensive ever getting
posted here but if it does, deal with it and move on.

shhhhhhhhhh. You'll spoil the illusion.
That reminds me of when my kids (then aged 10,8 & 6) wanted to get their dad (my exhusband) a very nice (expensive) watch a few years ago. A few months later I brought it up and he commented "I thought that came from the kids". DUH!
