Please don't deck the Howe's.

I know it isn't even Thanksgiving yet but I just found my favorite Christmas song of all time on my computer. I've now got it set to repeat.

Not Christmas songs!

Every holiday season, our receptionist gets in the spirit and puts Christmas music on the common area music system. But she NEVER changes the CD. By December 10th I get to the point where I CANNOT step foot in the restroom for fear of hearing "We are Santa's Elves" for the gazillionth time. Seriously.

Memory, Honor, Wit and Wisdom of my Grandpa.

Grandpa came up with the word KAZOOFUS and used it as a replacement word.
It most frequently replaced the word 'ass'. He tried so hard to not use
profanity in front of his sweet little granddaughters that KAZOOFUS was his
fill-in word whenever he caught himself about to swear. My sister and I,
being far too young to sling our own four letter naughty's around, gladly
adopted this wonderful new word that our family probably tolerated more
than they accepted.
