These boots are made for walking.
I've talked about them a lot but I don't think I've ever posted a picture of them. They are my favorite boots and I think my name for them came from The Boy. He HATES these boots and if memory serves his comment to me when he saw them for the first time was "Gene Simmons wants his boots back".
The Boy is not generally a fashion critic so this was completely out of character for him. In the spirit of totally rubbing it in I decided to leverage his lapse in manners and name my favorite boots:
My Gene Simmons would be jealous boots.
I'm posting the picture for Michelle over at Smoochdog who has a thing for black boots. She also has what appears to be an interesting quiz on her site. Ya might wanna boot scoot on over there and take a looksy.

I am wearing houseslippers right now. The cheap Walmart kind, but hey, the dogs eat the expensive ones. And they are doing the trick!
Right now? Isotoner slippers (the kind that are like ballet slippers). Earlier, my great big New Balance sneakers I wear to work. Cuz some of us have to work on Saturdays. :)
Dude....I have those same boots, except mine have a little "belt" and silver buckle at the top. The VIM calls them my Frankenstein boots.
I just left a comment on Jenorama for you and then realized you had a blog. I'm a little slow but I get there.
I'm adding you to my list - we both do the same thing with winter and summer clothes.
Right now I am wearing socks, wet socks from spraying down the patio furniture!
